Firstly, I would like to thank the EureCA Team for coming out with such a great newsletter.

The Budget is indeed a populist one as there is no doubt that honorable Finance Minister, Mr. P. Chidambaram, has devised the most for the salaried class to which I and so many people belong. The Budget will come as a mode of tax savings for such individuals and in a way promote savings and investments. This move can be really appreciated and the chances are no doubt in favour of the UPA Government after the Budget' 08 for the forthcoming elections.

And so it be, after all the 'Finmin' has really provided a great reduction to people's tax liability whose Taxable Income is between the range of 2 - 5 lacs.

I expect the Finance Ministry to continue doing this great Job.

Thank You

Hi neha...

Good to know that people like you are sharing their ideas.. I completely agree with you..

The budget surely comes as a relief to so many people and encourages savings which in return will promote investment.

A person earning 5 lacs p.a. can easily save around Rs 30000 in taxes. This multiplied by the no. of people having this pay will definitely results in savings of crores of rupees. If this extra resource of money can be effectively utilized then this will really boost the country's per capita income...

This may also attract new industries and result in growth in GDP..

I invite readers to correct me if I am wrong in my opinion anywhere..

Thanks...
